When it comes to commercial air carrier incidents, few are more legendary than the Gimli Glider. On July 23, 1983, Captain Bob Pearson successfully piloted C-GUAN, an Air Canada 767 to the ground in a glide due to fuel starvation in Gimli, Manitoba. The heroic landing firmly cemented itself as one of the most miraculous events in aviation history. As just the second-ever PlaneTag general release, we've been able to own a piece of this legendary aircraft as a PlaneTag for many years. Now, you finally have the opportunity to display these treasures in a custom display fitting of an icon.
